who directly deal with Florida’s most vulnerable, in all 67 counties.
How could you change Florida for the better?
According to the United Way of Florida’s Alice Report, of the 3.2 million households in Florida,
45% struggle to afford the basic necessities of housing, child care, food, health care, and transportation.
Great Scott! That is a lot of people!
Putting a “financial Band-Aid” on Florida’s poverty problem is not enough to bring the necessary change that is needed to improve these statistics.
A more effective solution needs to be holistic in approach and address the true issues at hand: behaviors and attitudes. Without this very crucial understanding, all the “financial Band-Aids” will prove fruitless.
