The entrepreneurial spirit is strong in Texas. Join us for an overview of best practices for business finances and the legal requirements for starting and running a microenterprise.
September 24: Navigate Student Loan Debt
The COVID emergency measures that provided temporary relief for federal student loan borrowers are set to end September 30. Learn about tools and resources to help Texans manage the burdens of student loan debt.
October 15: Navigate Medical Debt
Overwhelming medical bills can affect a family’s health and financial security. This webinar provides tips and tools on how to mitigate and manage medical debt.
November 5: Enroll in Marketplace Health Insurance
Learn about health insurance options on healthcare.gov, how federal subsidies work, errors to avoid when enrolling, and how to understand and compare plans.
Who Should Attend: Each training in this series will benefit community-based organizations, financial coaches and counselors, financial aid counselors, social workers, case managers, community health workers, community volunteers and everyone who wants to help Texans build financial resilience.
Training Times: All the trainings are currently scheduled on Fridays from 11am to 12pm Central. If you register for the series, you will be notified of any schedule changes.
